BUILDING YOUTH
FOR GOD'S KINGDOM

Who We Are

Equipping Youth for God's Kingdom

Tanzania Youth Ministries (TAYOMI) is a Pentecostal faith-based organisation founded in 1992 by the late Rev. Dr. Joseph Justine — whose ministry to children and youth in educational institutions began as early as 1982. In response to the Great Commission, TAYOMI stands as an advocate to empower and equip youth with spiritual values, life skills, and leadership — so they could transform their communities and the world at large.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

In 2025, TAYOMI launched its first-ever Strategic Plan (2025–2029) — a milestone document charting a bold, Spirit-led path for the next five years of ministry across Tanzania.

What We Believe

The Word
of God

TAYOMI is founded on the authority and sufficiency of Scripture. Christ-Centeredness is our first value — every program, camp, and gathering flows from the Word of God as the foundation of lasting transformation. We exist to disciple the youth of Tanzania to know the truth, live by it, and carry it into every sphere of life.

+ Our Programs

“Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.”

Psalm 119:105

Ministry Philosophy

Our Ministry
Pillars

TAYOMI operates through five essential ministry pillars — each one rooted in the Word of God and designed to make lasting transformation in the lives of young Tanzanians: from primary school children to university graduates.

DISCIPLESHIP

CLPD Program

Through our Christian Life and Professional Development (CLPD) initiative, over 7,750 Christian graduates have been deployed in five years to facilitate Bible studies and spiritual mentorship in learning institutions across Tanzania — strengthening discipleship and fostering a Christ-centred lifestyle.

"If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

John 8:31–32
