A New Chapter: 4th-Term Leadership Inaugurated & Strategic Plan Launched
Delegates and newly inaugurated leaders gathered at the national ceremony, June 2025.

On a landmark day in June 2025, Tanzania Youth Ministries (TAYOMI) gathered leaders, partners, and delegates from across the country for two historic milestones: the inauguration of the 4th-term national leadership — Usimikwaji wa Viongozi Wapya Awamu ya Nne — and the official launch of TAYOMI's first-ever Strategic Plan (2025–2029).

The ceremony, held with solemnity and celebration in equal measure, marked a significant transition of responsibility from one generation of servant-leaders to the next. Outgoing leaders were honoured for their faithfulness. Incoming leaders were commissioned with prayer, accountability, and the weight of a mission that now spans over a million young lives.

The Inauguration Ceremony

The installation of the 4th-term leadership was conducted before an assembly of TAYOMI officials, regional coordinators, CASFETA chapter leaders, alumni, and partners. Each leader was called forward by name and role, received the laying on of hands, and made a public commitment to serve with integrity, humility, and faith.

"Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." — Mark 10:43. The verse that defines TAYOMI's leadership philosophy was not merely quoted. It was enacted.

The occasion drew together voices from across the ministry — a living picture of the reach and depth of what God has built through TAYOMI since 1992. For many of the newer leaders, it was their first formal commissioning. For the senior leadership, it was a reaffirmation of the same calling they answered years ago.

Launching the Strategic Plan (2025–2029)

The second milestone of the day was the public launch of TAYOMI's first Strategic Plan — a document years in the making and the result of extensive consultation across the organisation's five ministry arms: CASFETA, BCF, EEMC, CLPD, and Dr. Mezger Secondary School.

The plan charts a bold, Spirit-led course for the next five years: deepening discipleship, expanding campus ministry, empowering the next generation of leaders, and strengthening TAYOMI's institutional capacity to serve Tanzania and beyond. It is not merely a management document. It is a statement of faith.

The Strategic Plan is the ministry's public declaration that God's mission in Tanzania is far from finished — and that TAYOMI intends to press forward with even greater intentionality.

Looking Forward

The inauguration and plan launch together signal that TAYOMI enters its next phase with clarity of vision, renewed leadership, and deep dependence on God. The work is vast. The need is urgent. And the same faithfulness that has sustained this ministry for over three decades will carry it into the next chapter.

We invite every TAYOMI family member — alumni, supporters, partners, and young people across Tanzania — to stand with us, pray with us, and be part of what God is about to do.
